Stentorian cries for the halcyon days, when we were closer, but all efforts remain sisyphean

i was planning to put pics for this new post, but im lazy, and my phone is kinda screwed so oh well. haha

hectic week of bombastic proportions. lots of bball matches, mural painting, two tests, one of which i missed ;p so im really drained and all, as ryan foo puts it, i look weary everyday, partially because he keeps saying that, my mind forces itself psychologically. lol. im falling asleep in class!like in the mid afternoon, my eyes will start rollicking back and forth until my system boots up again, i bet all this adrenaline will certainly hurt my health, better sleep well

quick update of my basketball stuff

season has begun, im in the team, number 13, benchwarmer, gets to play for about a few minutes every match. we won three mathces, of all i only scored 2 points, winning 3 matches against whitley, acs inter, and outram. playing peicai on friday, coach pushing us, till i feel like in turn, pushing daisies.

yep,. thats all the hooha forbball, friday's match is early morn so i will be missing the entire sports meet! SWEET!

the only downside is that i will lose out on the usual free haagen daz ice cream, but probably the recession will get everyone a free moo sandwich instead or smthing.LOL.

todays service was great, i have to say, the adult worship team is getting better every week. though the standing up for 30 mins can really tense the legs. humility was the key in today's word, and the best verse was "to be last to be first" or smthing like that. sometimes we get too carried away that we forget to serve god in our own way, and i think god deserves thanks for the matches we won the past few days.

EARTH HOUR was pretty fun, i struggled to study my geog with 6 candles surrounding my book. i pity those children in the 60s. how do they do it?! we only switched off the lights upstairs cause my dad rather read his papers in the living room than to save the world. fathers and their newspapers.

yeah so earth hour was quite fun, instead to studying, i got too carried away with positioning my candles around my books, and almost set my house on fire. seriously. i lighted up my tissue paper, and did not expect it to burst into flames, fortunately my lungs played fireman of the day. phew. what a heart warming experience

alrighty, thats all i have to say

take to u some other day

i serve cookies on a try
