paradox of school life

woke up with a weird feeling this morning, and no, it wasnt my bladder...hmm

it felt light, and yet, cumbersome, like a prisoner feeling the great exhilaration of a opened prison gate in front of him, but yet dettered by the harsh realities of life to even walk out

oh man... i so gotta stop watching prison break

Yeah, i didnt feel it for a really long time, but i admit, i was feeling anxious for school. but more of the looking forward sort of anxious. u get what im saying right? haha

yeah. so dashed out of my house cause i thought i'd be late. brisk walking, while returning the pong service of messages that jonathan sent to me.. hmm, guess im not the only nervous one. and i suddenly felt pretty alive.
thrown into the bustle of the early morn, where random adults are driving whatever piece of motorised metal to work, to see little students climb up those thick steps of the yellow school bus, or even the many towering secondary students walking into the barbed gates of a schol nearby. it felt like everyone was busy again. really alive, compared to the hols, where everyone's slacking at home.it felt really nice.

and i strated a new year with a record.

left house
6.48

reached school

7.04

that was light speed
first day of school was dry, i had to admit. we were briefed by disc comm, principal, for the entire day...and the worse point

it was almost the same briefing last year. dejavu was an understatement.

the best thing about today was 1 hr of recess.

1 hour of recess + one leather converse chuck taylor basketball= whole lot of fun.

i scored more than 2. not too shabby, considering i just returned from slackerdom... and i didnt have to jump. jumpshots getting a bit inaccurate cause i use to much strength... hmm...if i wanna get into the team this year (which is a new year's resolution), i'd better do some personal training

and i got sabotaged into chairmanship. lol. dunno whether to feel flattered or annoyed. lol.

tuition afterwards, then rushed home, bathed, ate, left for church.

yeah. we have some worship meeting, and i was half and hour late!

ran to the lift, toe collided with one of the potted plants, shrouded by the darkness of night. but i just sucked it, and moved... when i reached the lift. looked down. wooh!

nasty cut, fortunately, my toenail didnt drop off.

got it washed and stuff... but it doesnt hurt much, so its alright.

was tempted to take a pic, but its pretty unsightly, and might terrorise haemophobes, so nah!

its much better now, if your wondering. my plaster was sodden with quite an amount of blood

xiaorong gave us a thick form. yes, it was a contract...

one year in worship team. pointed out terms and conditions, and i will most probably commit to this. it beats committing to other stuff, this one i enjoy really much. and i think i would give it back to god, since he gave me a good-enough singing voice. :P

ahh. as u can conclude, im real pooped, so im off to snooze!

short ip

today's school..
it was cool
eventful

pulling strings

YEAH. u bet i did. i got my acoustic guitar!!!
woot!!
1 guitar, a heck load of trouble
day 1 : 23th dec
went with shung, nat(hot dance one), mark tan kai, dom
found a black one... ready to buy it!! comes with gig bAG and tuner too.
sorry, no stock! DARN!
day 2 24th
christmas gathering. not free.
day 3: 25th
after service, gave a ring. closed for christmas. aww man
day4 26th
not free
day 5: 27th
ready to buy black, but the brown one has a better pickup, looks seemingly better( im not being racist) has a fuller sound, sounds good to me, AND MY MOM SUPPORTS. ILL TAKE IT!
sorry, out of stock, new stock comes in at 3, says the dude.
goes for lunch, then walks to national library closeby. while my mom takes a short nap, i decided to try out an adult book. its freaking me out now. thriller books are quite scary..
borrowed it. its pretty vulgar though. have to get used to these sort of books, if i ever want to be an adult at least. peter pan, are u out there?!
return. the guy gets the guitar for me, and tunes it like a pro. no seriously. he seems to streatch and massage the strings!
grabs the gig bag for me.my mom pays for it, i sign warranty card.
"so sorry mam, we seem to have run out of tuners"
my mom was feeling christmasy, and spared him the screaming. dont tell her i said that. lol
but seriously, my mom was pretty patient that day. maybe i was being an awesome child... i doubt it though, she was pretty pissed i still didnt finish my homework.
stock comes on monday. bummer!
28th
not free
29th
still not free. finished homework!! YES! now can watch prison break without my mom doing commentary about what chinese phrases to put in my compo. lol
30th( which is now, its 1.21 am now)
going to get my freaking tuner with my dad. aww. so nice. my family sacrifices steps to get my ambition going. i feel real touched. pretty touched..*sniff*
might be getting new pair of shoes too. whee. didnt stop wearing those sneakers, and washed them only a couple of times. haha. youth camp broke my longest chain.
i kinda think god had some intervention in this or smthing! teaching me perserverance, and to treasure my guitar more, and to not choose the black one, cause my choice was toggling every hour of the day. praise the lord!
i have to admit im struggling through homework these days. really not in the mood for school. hmmph
oh well. pray and obey, i guess
ip time
this new year
takes away our fear
cause its a new slate
amendments made!
forgetting horrible stuff, like HSM 3
and approach the new one with jubilee!
resolutions are usually forgotton
but down to earth ones are good
not lame ones, like planting cotton
as we hit the new year with festivities
dont just remember your christmas feast
but reflect on the things that u have prayed
cause god doesnt mind making a trade
some commitment in church, or more quiet time
to answer a prayer, that to him u'll pine
